Simplify Your Gym Bag

At the beginning of each new year we put together our list of resolutions; all the things we're going to do differently; all the things we're going to do for the very first time. How many of those resolutions have you actually stuck to? Our guess is probably not very many, and we don't blame you! Resolutions are daunting! The pressure of doing new things to create a new you is too much! This year, we are more into the idea of improvement.

Make a shorter list of smaller behaviors that are actually feasible. For example: Be More Active. "Be More Active" isn't demanding and, therefore, eliminates some guilt when you just can't get to the gym after work. Also, more activity can mean so many different things! Take the stairs. Park farther away from the grocery store entrance. Ride your bike around the neighborhood like you did back in the day.

The next step would be to have a bag of simple supplies at the ready to make physical activity that much easier. The good news is: you don't need much! Throw in whatever pair of athletic shoes are comfiest, a bottle of water, and a towel (for those times you do decide to really get your heart rate going). As far as toiletries, we've got you covered.

Rock Body Deodorant is small, durable, and 100% natural. This is the perfect option for those of us who prefer to avoid chemicals, dyes, artificial perfumes, alcohols, and aluminum. Simply moisten and apply to the skin. It works perfectly under the arms to block odors, and there are those among us who swear by its effectiveness on stinky feet!
Shampoo Bars are also compact and easy to toss into your bag when you can't be bothered to lug heavy plastic bottles to the gym. If you ever *need* to shower after the gym, shampoo bars are your best option. They are easy to hold and we have one for every hair type! Keep it in a small Tupperware container for safekeeping.

Now, if you're going to start using muscles you haven't used in a while... you're going to need a few of our Therapy bath bombs handy. It's a large bath bomb, which you can break into tinier chunks if you wish. We suggest just lobbing the whole thing in the tub. It's filled with mineral sea salts that draw toxins from the body, relieving soreness and tension. Soak the pain way, literally.

Lastly, toss in a Solid Moisturizer! Like the shampoo, you aren't going to want to carry around bottles or even pots of lotion when you're trying to be your most efficient. Solid Moisturizer is hard-packed lotion, made with cocoa and shea butters and almond oil. Because the product is in stick and bar forms, you can massage it into your skin. Massage your muscles and moisturize at the same time!

Remember: think simple, small improvements. You're already great, and we just want to help you be even better!
