Skincare For Travel

Nowadays, the stress of air travel begins to rear its ugly head well before we even step foot on the plane. Because of strict TSA rules and regulations, we have to examine almost every single bath, body, and beauty product we consider packing with us, especially in our carry-on luggage. Is this bottle over the ounce limit? Could this product pass as a non-liquid? It can all be quite confusing, especially to those less familiar with traveling via airplane. The last thing we want is to pack our most beloved products to have TSA take them all away before we board.

Currently, the rule for carry-on luggage (per tsa.gov) states that all liquid products must be 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) or smaller, and fit into one quart-sized resealable bag. This restricts us from packing many of our favorite products, or so it seems. We picked out six products that not only meet the travel requirements, but are wonderfully effective and simple to use.

Dr. Spot Fabric Stain Remover Soap

With this magic soap bar, you won't have to fret about stains on your nice vacation clothes! Tomato sauce, no problem. Wine spill? No sweat! Simply wet the area, rub the bar into the fabric, rinse, and repeat. The stain should come right out. Simply let the bar sit out to dry and throw is back into a plastic bag when you are finished with it.

Solid Perfumes

The worry of packing along a precious perfume that might break or leak is now eliminated. Just dab your finger into the pot, and rub this blend of natural oils and waxes into your body's pulse points (behind the ears, your wrists, elbow creases, etc). The perfume melts into the skin and releases throughout the day. It also provides a nice way to freshen up after a long flight.

Shampoo & Conditioner Bars

Our solid hair care bars make traveling extraordinarily stress-free. With these, you don't have to worry about lugging around large bottles, or even travel-sized bottles, of liquid shampoo and conditioner. If you buy four shampoo and conditioners, we supply you with a barrel container to pack them in. Otherwise, we suggest simply wrapping tightly before tossing them in your handbag. Depending on how often you wash your hair, these bars can last up to 50-75 washes. Let them sit out to dry between uses and they will hold their shape nicely.

Argan Oil Soap

Any of our glycerin soaps are small enough and easy enough to travel with. Argan oil, however, is deeply nourishing and moisturizing and great for skin that dries out while up in an airplane. Additionally, we all know how it feels to wash with bad hotel soaps. Sometimes they burn or dry out your skin even more. Argan oil is a two-in-one! Clean and moisturize at the same time!

Dead Sea Face Scrub

Face products can be some of the hardest to figure out how to pack. We can't just decide not to wash our faces while traveling. Our face scrubs are just 2 ounces, and a little goes a long way. Dead Sea mud smells of eucalyptus and spearmint and will help your skin feel awake and fresh again after a long flight. These rich minerals help to improve skin elasticity while minimizing pores. The exfoliation comes from tiny jojoba beads that are both completely natural and gentle enough for the face.

Lip Balm

Everybody needs lip balm! Ours contain an SPF of 15 and are made up of a nourishing blend of avocado butter, hemp oil, beeswax, Shea butter, cocoa butter, Vitamin E, sunflower oil, and aloe vera. Nobody likes having cracked lips, and we can't forget to take care of them while traveling!
