This souffle is essentially a gentle scrub offering less abrasive exfoliation. It smells great! It smells exactly like a new bag/box of Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies. It made my elbows feel soft and smooth. The little cookie soap is adorable. One concern, I don't know if it's how the product settled during shipping but it kind of looked like some of it was missing from my jar.
This Sugar Souffle smells AMAZING! Never in my life have I experienced a scent so close to actual cookies and milk without the real thing. My husband and I originally bought this as a gift for family, but I snuck an extra one into the cart for myself. SO GLAD I DID. Now that I've smelled this scent, I want to always be smelling fresh baked cookies! And who wouldn't?! If you're unsure about liking this smell, but can't resist the aroma of chocolate chip cookies, give this a try! Even if you don't personally like it, I am positive someone else will, and because the packaging is so cute, it makes a great gift! I'm waiting to purchase a bunch of these for Christmas gifts for my friends, but Basin is currently sold out. BASIN PLEASE RESTOCK! And continue to stock year round! I'd advise against this one and try another scent. The soufflé is fine on its own, texture is nice, feels great even on sensitive skin, but the scent does not smell like cookies or cream. It doesn't smell good at all, like something is “off”. It reminds me of those scratch and sniff stickers from the 80's that didn't quite get the food smell right. Thankfully the scent does not last after rinsing, so I will finish this jar up and order a different one. Hope that they'll be able to nail cookie scents in the future, will def. want to try again! :)
