Keeps Your Soap Dry!
I ordered this soap dish, along with a raft one, when I ordered a bar of tea tree soap. I wanted to make sure that my soap lasted as long as possible (by keeping the bar dry), and I wanted something that wasn't an eyesore. This is perfect. The curvature of the dish makes sure that any water or liquid drains down to the middle of the dish, and then comes out the holes in the bottom, leaving your soap dry, not sticky and dissolving. It's also a beautiful soap dish, and inexpensive to boot! When I looked at local stores, their dishes were $6-10, or even higher, and made of plastic without drainage holes. Yes, they had ridges to "hold the soap up" but water collects in the bottom and then eats away at your soap. Who wants that?
