Not only is Basin ethical, but they has always been so accomodating when packaging my Hair Care Barrel. I have an allergy to certain plastics and without fail, Basin always delivers my Barrels without any additional plastic upon my request. I have been buying from Basin since 2018 and don't plan on stopping any time soon!
I've used about half of all the various shampoo bars. All have worked extremely well. I know they are kind of spendy, but as long as you keep them dry between uses a bar will last as long as any bottle of shampoo.
Product is great, but I paid more in shipping and duty than my order was worth. I thought soap was duty free.
I have been buying these bars for years. Shampoo and conditioner in one. Easy to pack for travel. No liquid to fuss with. Hair feels wonderful. It does a good job.
I love the conditioner itself, but the whole reason I went with the bars and not a traditional pump was to cut down on plastic, and the bars were wrapped in plastic inside the barrel. No need for that :)
I love buying the shampoo in these barrels. It's a great way to store the extra bars.
I love that I can customize my choices. This time I tried two shampoo bars and two conditioner bars. But I tend to go through conditioner a lot faster than shampoo so I like that in the future I can get more conditioner than shampoo if I want. There is also a HUGE selection to choose from. Something for everyone!

I love that I can order my hair care like this because I only have to order about every 6 months and I know that my bars will show up in tacked, and not a crumbled mess. Not to mention it makes storing these so easy! I rotate my barrel ever time I order and put the packing slip that you get in the box on the outside, because it is a sticker, so I know what is in my current barrel. This also helps me when I order the next time, since I have a set order for 3 bars and I like to try a new bar every so often!
