      definatly worth it

I have really dry, fizzy, and curly hair which it the type recommend for this. I'm really happy with it its tamed down my hair, and has made it soft and shinny. you definitely get your money's worth. I have waist length hair , maybe a little longer. And the shampoo bar lasted me a little over a month. With regular shampoo( a 12 ounce bottle) which costed about 5 dollars a bottle but I would have to buy two to three bottles a month for not so great results(so about 10-15 a month not even including conditioner). I buy two at a to at a time with the barrel deal so only 12.50 a month for both shampoo and conditioner. Definitely sticking to the shampoo bars from now on.

      New to shampoo bars

I was in Orlando a few weeks ago and stopped by the Basin store at downtown Disney. Me and my sister are trying out new natural and cruelty free bath and beauty products and were there to pick up some bath salts and bath bombs. I saw this product on the wall and was so intrigued by it. I went home and watched a bunch of reviews on hair shampoo bars and decided to give it a try. First, Let me say how awesome basins was with my order. I placed a large order of a little of everything on Friday June 5th by Monday June 8th. My order was delivered to my door. This blew my mind ;) Second, I have used my shampoo bar twice and OMG I may never go back to regular shampoo. It lathers really easy and leaves my hair feeling so soft!

I love this product I tried it a year ago and had to order more it last a long time. Makes my hair soft and clean and it is better than liquid soap.

Better than liquid shampoo but doesn't fight frizz.

This lathered nicely and is far better than any liquid shampoo, but did nothing for frizz as described. It doesn't really smell like chocolate either. I prefer the scalp soother shampoo bar. It smells better and seems to leave hair softer and more managable.

      Best Shampoo

My whole family switched to the Macaroon and Hair Food Shampoo and Conditioner bars. We will never go back to liquid shampoo again! These bars are perfect for travel and last a long time. Terrific lather with the shampoo. If you order I suggest ordering one conditioner bar for every 2-3 shampoo bars. Hair feels clean and light. I also recommend using a wide-tooth comb in the shower with the conditioner in your hair, then rinse to make de-tangling easier. If you live outside the US call the 1-800 # to arrange shipping to your country. We get our orders shipped to Canada without a problem. Great customer service.

I bought 3 shampoo bars this being one of them, I was expecting this one to do wonders for my frizzy hair, but it didn't. I don't think it smells at all like chocolate, it does make my hair softer though and does add more shine. I was a tad worried because as I was rinsing the shampoo out my hair squeaked, you do not want your hair to squeak when rinsing.

Quick, Clean wash for long hair

Posted by Karin Powers on 16th Dec 2014

I discovered Basin at Downtown Disney in California, and bought the Hair Food Shampoo bar not sure how it would work out. I was very pleasantly surprised, and was bummed to find that Basin was no longer in Downtown Disney on the west coast. My brother-in-law went to Downtown Disney in Florida, and remembered that I had liked the hair bars and brought me three... I was so happy! I was stingy with them, wanting them to last, but when I got close the the end I knew I had to find them online. They lather wonderfully, and rinse clean and quick, which is wonderful for LONG hair. I will never be without them again!
