Hair Food Shampoo Bar

I ordered these by in June 2023 and months later I can say I am very pleased with the product that I have had my mom on her trips to Disney World grab me two barrels so far! Not that I need them yet, it takes me about 3-4 months to go through a shampoo bar. They are a great plastic free alternative and they are easy to travel with (I recommend ordering the tin case as well). The bars do seem smaller than I expected but they last as long as they say. I have long hair (down to my waist/past my should blades) and I was able to make these last a few months. I found the shampoo bar was gentler on my hair wavy hair and did a better job cleaning my hair than most other shampoo I have used without it feels like it was drying my hair out. The smell is lovely but not overpowering. And it definitely will create suds whether to rub it in your hands or directly in your hair. My only complain is that it doesn't last as long as the conditioner bar and I would need maybe half of another shampoo bar for them to both last the same amount of time. Still highly recommend it!

This is amazing! I get a lather, a subtle scent, and smooth hair! My hair used to get greasy and heavy come day two. This shampoo bar does not make my hair greasy looking or smell dirty. It keeps my hair smooth and clean. Love it!

I have a terrible time with scalp itch with most products. This shampoo bar is much better than what I usually use. It also lathers very luxuriously. I am very pleased with it.

I have tried several brands of shampoo bars and even several different types from Basin and Egg Noggin and Hair Food are my favorite. They travel well, it keeps my oily hair under control for 2 days and is better for the environment so everyone wins.

My son's curly hair has never been more manageable and soft -- plus it's soooo easy to use and no waste. Love this bar!

I love this shampoo. It smells great and leaves my hair soft and with less frizz. I color my hair and it doesn’t affect the color either. I always get way more than the month they tell you it lasts too and I wash my hair daily. The added bonus is no plastic waste!

I purchased this product because I have very frizzy hair. It is also thinning significantly due to autoimmune disease, and I just wanted to see if switching to this would help. It’s too soon to tell if the shampoo has slowed down hair loss. But I can say that my hair is much more manageable. No more frizzies. I love it.

I like the shampoo, it lathers well and smells good. I like how my hair feels after. But it comes in plastic wrapping- the whole point of me switching to this was to be more sustainable. I won't buy again unless they change packaging.
